# Assignment Submission Guidelines
## ARTTECHES Graphic Designing Mastery — Instructor: Ali Akbar Shah

Simple English. Read this once, then follow it for every assignment, project, and test in the course.

## 1. Folder Structure (make it once, use it all 30 days)

Create this folder structure on your computer:

```
Graphic-Designing-Mastery/
├── 01-Daily-Assignments/
│   ├── Day-01/
│   ├── Day-02/
│   └── ... (Day-03 to Day-30)
├── 02-Module-Assignments/
│   ├── M02/
│   ├── M03/
│   ├── M04/
│   ├── M05/
│   ├── M06/
│   ├── M07/
│   └── M08/
├── 03-Projects/
│   ├── Project-01-Logo-Design/
│   ├── Project-02-Social-Media-Post/
│   ├── Project-03-Flyer-Design/
│   ├── Project-04-Business-Card/
│   ├── Project-05-Brand-Identity/
│   └── Project-06-Final-Portfolio/
├── 04-Tests/
│   ├── Module-Tests/
│   ├── Mid-Course-Assessment/
│   └── Final-Exam/
└── 05-Portfolio/
    └── (final selected work)
```

Put each piece of work in the matching folder. Never mix days together.

## 2. File Naming Rule

Every file name follows this pattern:

```
GDM-[TASK]-[YourName]-[What-It-Is]-v[version].[extension]
```

**Examples:**
- `GDM-D15-AliShah-Logo-v1.pdf` — Day 15 assignment, logo, version 1
- `GDM-M04-AliShah-Assignment.pdf` — Module 04 assignment
- `GDM-P01-AliShah-Logo-v2.cdr` — Project 01, logo, version 2
- `GDM-D17-AliShah-SocialPost-v1.png` — Day 17 social post

**Naming rules:**
- Replace `AliShah` with YOUR name (no spaces, no special characters).
- Task code: `D` + day number (D01–D30), `M` + module (M02–M09), `P` + project number (P01–P06).
- Version: start with `v1`. If the instructor asks for fixes, save the fixed file as `v2`, `v3`, and so on. Never overwrite `v1`.
- One file = one clear name. No names like `final-final-2.pdf`.

## 3. What Format to Submit

| Task type | Submit these formats |
|---|---|
| Daily assignments | PDF (for viewing) + CDR (CorelDRAW source file, if made in CorelDRAW) |
| Module assignments | PDF + CDR |
| Projects | PDF + CDR + any required export (PNG/JPG as stated in the brief) |
| Tests (theory) | Written answers as instructed in the test file |
| Tests (practical) | PDF + CDR |

**Always keep your CDR source file.** The instructor may ask to see how you built the design.

## 4. How to Submit

1. Save your file with the correct name (see section 2).
2. Check your work against the task's rubric or requirements before sending.
3. Submit through the method your instructor announces (class group, email, or upload link).
4. Submit **before the deadline**. Late work loses 10 points per day (out of 100).

## 5. Quality Checklist (run before every submission)

- [ ] File name is correct (GDM code, your name, version).
- [ ] All required deliverables are included — check the brief's deliverables list.
- [ ] Text has no spelling mistakes (read it twice).
- [ ] Images and text are not cut off at the edges.
- [ ] Colors look correct (RGB for screen work, CMYK for print work).
- [ ] Exported PDF is not blurry (zoom to 100% and check).
- [ ] For print work: bleed and safe margins are set correctly.

## 6. Original Work Rule

All work must be your own. You may look at Behance, Dribbble, and Google Fonts for **inspiration**, but you must never copy, trace, or download someone else's design and submit it as yours. Copied work scores **zero** and may fail the module.
