guided practice.

**[0:00 — INTRO]**
"Assalam-o-Alaikum! I am Ali Akbar Shah — Day 26, the finale of Module 8. You
have the identity system. But a system in one messy file dies when the project
ends. Today: the brand guidelines — the rulebook — honest vector mockups built
in CorelDRAW, and the presentation order that gets you a YES."
**[SCREEN CUE: Day-25 system board → blank 10-page document.]**
**[2:00 — GUIDELINES STRUCTURE]**
"A guidelines document is 8 to 14 pages for a small brand, always in this
order: cover, brand story, logo, logo don'ts, palette, typography,
applications, mockups, contact. Anyone — a printer, a sign maker — can follow
it. That is what makes your work outlive you."
**[SCREEN CUE: Layout > Insert Page to 10 pages; footer strip on master/page
copies.]**
**[5:00 — BUILDING THE PAGES]**
"Page 1: cover — cocoa background, cream logo, 'Brand Guidelines v1.0'. Page
2: the story and our three adjectives. Pages 3 and 4: logo with clear space,
then the six don'ts. Pages 5 and 6: palette with all three value sets, then
the type scale. Pages 7 and 8: applications — the card, the sticker, the bag.
Page 10: contact and the file handover list. Page 9 — we leave for mockups."
**[SCREEN CUE: Build pages quickly, copying system elements from Day-25.]**
**[11:00 — HONEST MOCKUPS]**
"Now, honesty first: CorelDRAW is a vector tool, not a photo editor. It cannot
make true 3D photo mockups. What it CAN make — and it looks genuinely good —
are vector mockups: we draw the object, tilt it with Effects > Add
Perspective, place our artwork with PowerClip, and ground it with the
Interactive Drop Shadow. And we LABEL them 'vector mockup.' Trust beats hype."
**[SCREEN CUE: Draw bag → Add Perspective → PowerClip logo → drop shadow 40%
soft → caption 'Vector mockup'.]**
**[17:00 — THREE MOCKUPS]**
"Bag: done. Signboard: wood-tone rectangle, perspective, PowerClipped cream
logo, shadow, plus a little hanging OPEN sign. Card stack: two cards, one
rotated, soft shadows between. Export each as JPG, import onto page 9 of the
guidelines."
**[SCREEN CUE: Build signboard + card stack; export; place on page 9.]**
**[21:00 — THE YES-SEQUENCE]**
"Presentation order — memorize this. One: recap the brief, thirty seconds.
Two: the approved direction. Three: reveal the logo — full screen, three
seconds of silence, then the idea in two sentences. Four: palette and type.
Five: mockups — the emotional peak. Six: the guidelines — 'the rulebook so it
always looks this good.' Seven: next steps — 'Shall we proceed to final
artwork?' One recommended option. Never apologize for your work."
**[SCREEN CUE: Flip through the finished PDF in presentation order.]**
**[25:00 — CLOSE]**
"Assignment: the complete Petal & Stem handover — 10-page guidelines, three
mockups, handover file list. That closes Module 8: you can now take a client
from first brief to final brand handover. Next module: your portfolio. Work
hard — Allah Hafiz!"
